I made a flash game!

My goal of the animation is to just make a basic flash platformer game. I learned that even the simplest of the flash games require a lot of codes and is very difficult to maintain. One challenge I had was mostly the character. I couldn't make him move fast enough or jump high enough for the game to be fair. Another challenge is the spawning. If you would fall off you would go through the ground or you just wouldn't spawn in properly. I still should have added more levels or made the game itself look a lot lot better. I did watch 3 videos to make this flash game. I had to read the text he set up just so I can keep up. Here is the video for the tutorial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTxI1VnWJ5M. I made an Advertising Ad in flash

So this last week and this week I have been working on this "ad" project where I had to make a public awareness ad and I decided to choose whales. It was difficult and this project doesn't exactly meet the criteria for it to be a 100 however I think its pretty good but short. To see the public awareness ad click here!

I made my first flash animation

So this week I have been working on my flash animations! I made a moving face, a moving stick figure and 2 more projects that involves flash. They may not be much but they did take some time to work on. Click here to check it out!

This is my stick animation that is currently uploaded to youtube. I had a lot of fun doing this project and I did make this into a gif but this one has music and credits. Thats pretty much the only difference in this one. Anyways it took me a lot of time and it might not be difficult but it is for first timers. But I did have a  lot of fun

Pivot Animation

So this week I have been working on a Stick Figure Animation. Even though it is short and simple it took a lot of time and patience to do it. At first it looks easy but making the stick figure have somewhat realistic movement was very difficult. This may be just the basics of animation. In the future I may use this knowledge to make better animation that looks like somewhat a cartoon of some sort. But I did have a lot of fun making stick figures move to my will.

11/15 Learning Reflections

On friday, I photoshopped 3 pictures. One is a banner with my name, the other is just a sports car with a soccer ball and the third is just my name with a lot of edit. It was a really fun project and it wasn't really that hard compared to what I did before. Hope I can do more with photoshop in the future.

I made my own webpage!

In this project, I used notepad and a bunch of codes to make my own website. As you can see I made one but its not very professional like. But it doesn't really matter still a webpage right? It was a really fun project but very difficult. Especially the one where I have to make sure when you click on my site it will open to another site. It was a very annoying process making it happen because the code was too complicated to even type. It wasn't really worth it in the end but you know. Hard work will pay off one day right?

10/8 Learning Reflections

In this project, I had to do research on a topic that was given to me. That topic was "What are The Languages Used to Make a Website?". I chose the most common languages used such as HTML, JavaScript, and SQL. I had more but those are the ones that are mostly used. This was a difficult thing to do because there are many languages used to make a website so it was hard to find the ones that really are commonly used. I did learn a lot from researching though. I learned what each language does so when I plan to make a website I will at least know what I need or understand what I need to do.

Digital Footprint

What I learned about "Digital Footprint" is to basically be careful with the internet. Especially in social medias. You might think when you post something, only your friends can see it only. But sometimes either your privacy isn't very strong or your friends might send the status, video, or picture to their friends and before you know it, its going to be all over the internet. With that kind of information out in the internet, you can get harassed online which is called cyber bullying. Cyber bullying is the same concept as you are getting harassed in real life. The insults towards you is the same pain felt as if you were being beat up. Also when you associate with people online, make sure you trust them 100% percent. People who can see that much info on you can be used against you and/or used by themselves. Associating with people online isn't very safe sometimes. Like when I post something personal, I make sure I don't say too much to make sure no one can use it against me. Also if I don't like to associate with someone online I usually use a feature called "block" which is in most social medias. Blocking is used against people so they see absolutely nothing on your account and/or page.

Academic Integrity

Academic Integrity is when you are honest about your work. Basically you didn't cheat by stealing your friends work or just copying and pasting and changing words so it looks like you did it yourself. Academic Integrity is very important to pass the class. If the teacher finds out you weren't honest about your work,the consequences can get you either a failing grade or get kicked out of the program. So Academic Integrity is very important to have. In short notice, Academic Integrity is a moral code in school, to avoid plagiarism or cheating in your work.

So I started blogging....

So apparently I am blogging because of my class in my school. Interesting I never did anything like this in my old school. Highschool is interesting :D
